What exactly is a handle?

It’s your address on the network — my.surfcard.io/you. Three to thirty characters of letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, and once you claim it, it is yours alone. Your card, your QR code and your link all point at that one address.

Does the person I share with need an app?

No. Your profile is an ordinary web page — it opens in whatever browser is already on their phone, and one tap saves you into their contacts as a vCard.

What happens when my details change?

You edit once and it is current everywhere: the link you sent last year, the QR on your slide, the card already in someone’s wallet. Nothing to resend, nothing to reprint.

Is a profile really free?

Yes. Claiming a handle and publishing a profile costs nothing, and Lite is a permanent free plan rather than a trial.
